Aero Linen is a strong, finely woven unbleached linen cloth.
Linen is one of the strongest natural fabrics available, and was traditionally used in the history of early plane making, where it was used to form part of the plane’s membrane, and covered with a varnish style of solvent giving great strength in order to help keep planes in the sky. At some time in history, a book binder recognised the strength of Aero Linen and decided that it would be ideal to improve the strength of books, because of it’s fine yet strong threads, and is now used in the conservation and repair of books.
